Ms. Alvino has over 15 years with DeltaTrak, a company that specializes in cold chain management, environmental monitoring, and food safety solutions. She works with products and solutions used mainly in produce, floral, transportation, cold storage, food processing, supermarket and restaurant chain stores, and the life sciences. Ms. Alvino has been involved in DeltaTrak projects that work closely with industry experts, university researchers and customers to continuously develop new solutions that help solve specific problems related to extending shelf life, maintaining quality, and ensuring food safety by improving storage and handling practices of perishable commodities. She is a trainer on topics that include monitoring temperature and humidity in the supply chain, using real-time and cloud services to monitor and analyze data, ethylene control, postharvest handling, food safety, and HACCP compliance.
