Unmissable tour to mainland China

As part of the CHINA MEET UP, this year’s China Study Tour begins on 6 September right after ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA, offering exclusive access to the operations of leading players across China’s fresh produce supply chain.

Delegates will first enjoy a tour to Sam’s Club’s Futian store in Shenzhen. Opened in 1996, the Futian branch was one of Sam’s Club’s earliest outlets in mainland China. The tour offers a unique opportunity to learn how businesses can collaborate with Sam’s Club, including insights into its procurement practices, partnership models, and key criteria for selecting suppliers.

Delegates will then visit leading distributor Joy Wing Mau (JWM) to learn about the development of China’s fruit industry and supply chain. The tour includes JWM’s headquarter in Shenzhen, where participants can explore its advanced cold chain logistics operations – featuring Asia's first fully-automated professional smart cold storage facility for fruits and vegetables.

The tour also includes a special visit to Guangzhou Jiangnan Market, the largest wholesale hub in Guangzhou for premium domestic and imported fruits. With over two decades of development, the market plays a critical role as a distribution centre for the Greater Bay Area, driving both domestic and international fruit trade.

Places on the tour are limited. Registrations are already in full swing, with trade professionals confirmed to participate from all over the world, including Ecuador, Chile, Peru, Taiwan, New Zealand, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, the UK, Argentina and more.
